Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. (DBF) seeks a municipal civil engineer to design and oversee public infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has stormwater, water, wastewater, roadway design, and project management experience and will work with municipalities and regulatory agencies.

This in-person role requires a four-year degree in civil engineering, four+ years of experience, AutoCAD proficiency, and Maryland or Delaware PE licensure or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum four years of related experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Professional Engineer license in MD or DE or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee municipal/public works projects.
• Assist municipalities with plan reviews and coordination with agencies.
• Prepare funding applications, reports, and grants.
• Perform construction administration and procurement activities.
• Attend municipal meetings and public hearings as necessary.
• Coordinate permitting with local agencies.
• Perform related duties to complete projects.
