Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college.
• Four years’ experience in road and building construction, with two years in plan reviews, cost estimates, and inspections.
• Two years of subdivision, storm water, and floodplain management experience.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training to provide the required knowledge and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve construction plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate reviews of subdivisions and field investigations.
• Develop and supervise civil engineering designs and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and statutory requirements.
• Provide technical advice to County departments and elected officials.
