Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates for city improvement projects (storm drain, street, water, sewer).
• Prepare drawings and reports for traffic engineering studies.
• Perform design calculations and prepare maps and right-of-way determinations.
• Analyze data and perform quantity and cost estimates; perform engineering calculations.
• Assist in hydraulic/hydrologic studies for storm drain, sewer and water facilities.
• Conduct field inspections and oversee construction to ensure plans and specs are followed.
