The role involves strategic analysis of statutes, regulations, and regulatory filings and guiding expert testimony and briefs.

Formación

• At least 10 years of legal experience with significant involvement in public utilities litigation.
• Demonstrated commitment to public service or consumer advocacy.
• Strong writing ability and excellent communication skills.
• Excellent management skills and ability to supervise a team.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee a team of about 8 attorneys and 2 policy specialists handling ICC, FERC, and related regulatory matters.
• Coordinate analysis of statutes, regulations, filings, and orders affecting utility service; review expert testimony and briefs.
• Supervise litigation addressing rate design, service quality, investments, mergers, and competition; review pending legislation and proposed regs.
