Job summary
The Illinois Attorney General's Environmental Bureau seeks an Assistant Attorney General to build and prosecute cases against environmental polluters in Chicago. You will investigate complaints, draft pleadings, respond to motions, manage mediations and settlements, and represent the People of the State of Illinois in court.
Qualified candidates must be licensed attorneys in Illinois, with interest and experience in environmental law, litigation, and public policy.
Qualifications
- Licensed in Illinois at time of application.
- Interest and experience in investigation, litigation and public policy.
- Background in environmental law or environmental science preferred.
- Experienced attorneys encouraged to apply.
