Job summary

Veterans Engineering, a subsidiary of Aretum, is seeking a System Administrator to support federal infrastructure in Charleston, SC. You will manage servers, networks, and security, monitor performance, and implement upgrades to ensure high availability.

The role requires 8+ years of system administration experience or a BS in a technical field, familiarity with ServiceNow and SCOM, and ability to work on-site on a federal contract.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting routine system administration tasks and logging data
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting a wide variety of systems and networks
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and implement corrective actions

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting tasks in support of IT customers
• Provide on-site diagnosis and resolution of hardware/software issues using ServiceNow
• Provision and manage endpoints, imaging, OS patches and software installations
• Monitor system performance and implement upgrades to ensure high availability and security
• Maintain asset inventory, documentation, and change control in ServiceNow
