Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Public Transit Security Officer for a full-time role in Vancouver, WA. Wage is $24.30 per hour with a $1000 hiring bonus. Schedule is Monday – Friday 5:30pm–1:30am. You will provide security services, receive elite training, and support client sites to maintain safety and order.

Role emphasizes access control, patrols, and clear written reporting. Minimums include 18+ years, HS diploma or GED, strong customer service, and pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Strong customer service background required.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience preferred.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must work well under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
