Qualifications

• Knowledge of operating a variety of transit vehicles (buses, vans, autos).
• Ability to provide safe driving and customer service.
• Familiarity with ADA regulations and safety procedures.
• Ability to read schedules, maps, and passenger information.
• Ability to communicate clearly with the public and staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate transit vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Assist passengers, including those with disabilities, in boarding and alighting.
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance needs.
• Input passenger and route information; monitor schedules and detours.
• Respond to customer inquiries and dispatch instructions.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; six months transit driving experience preferred
