Job summary

Tri-Valley Heartland Express Bus is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to ensure the safety of passengers and uphold professional customer service standards. The role includes operating buses, assisting with wheelchair lifts, maintaining routes, and handling fares.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of driving experience.
• Current Medical Examination Card; upon hire and maintain thereafter.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background search requirements.
• Acceptable MVR results upon hire, and annually thereafter.
• Pass Tri-Valley Transportation Driver Certification training and observation provided upon hire; must pass to continue employment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports passengers to their destination; adheres to routes and schedules.
• Safely operates the wheelchair lift and secures passengers in wheelchair area.
• Mentors substitute and new drivers; provides training on daily and monthly forms.
• Performs daily and monthly records and reports as required.
• Public relations: sells tickets, deposits fare boxes, and collects fares.
