Job summary

Tri-Valley Opportunity Council is seeking a Bus Driver II to provide safe transportation for passengers on scheduled routes and to uphold excellent customer service standards.

The role requires operating a wheelchair lift, assisting passengers, and enforcing safety policies. A CDL with Passenger Endorsement, medical card, and clean MVR are mandatory, with training and supervision provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Examination Card and maintain thereafter.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background search requirements.
• Acceptable MVR results upon hire, and annually thereafter.
• Minimum of three years of driving experience.
• Pass Tri-Valley Transportation Driver Certification training.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers on scheduled routes and maintain routes as scheduled.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the bus and properly complete paperwork.
• Answer customer questions and collect fares; provide excellent public service.
• Performs public relations and marketing duties to increase ridership.
• Complete daily and monthly records and reports; attend required meetings.
