Job summary

Beaufort County Treasurer’s Office is seeking a Customer Success Representative to serve as the first point of contact for taxpayers and the public. You will process in-person payments, communicate information, and handle inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities include resolving payment exceptions, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with policies. A strong focus on customer service and precise, courteous communication is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office and professional communication.
• Minimum 5 years in a professional office with customer service exposure.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Process in-person tax payments and related transactions accurately.
• Respond to taxpayer inquiries in person, by mail, phone, and online channels.
• Resolve exceptions and escalate as needed to ensure timely service.
• Maintain records and follow Beaufort County Treasurer policies.
• Support cross-functional teams and participate in training as required.
