Job summary

Hampton Inn Woodbridge, NJ is seeking a dedicated Houseperson to support laundry, guest rooms, and public spaces. You will transport linen, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness throughout the public areas and restrooms.

The role requires lifting up to 30 pounds and the ability to work across shifts to assist the housekeeping team. Responsibilities include assisting Room Attendants, delivering items to guest rooms on request, and following safety guidelines, MSDS, and supervisor

Qualifications

• Familiar with Housekeeping; including sanitation, laundry operation, and guest service.
• Lift up to thirty (30) pounds, unassisted.
• Bending, stretching, standing, walking and use of stairs for duration of shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide support between laundry, guest-room, and maintain public area for cleanliness and appearance.
• Transport clean/dirty linen and supplies; dispose of trash; clean hard/textile surfaces and restrooms in public space.
• Respond to guest room requests and restock inventory in stockrooms.
• Support Room Attendants in stripping soiled linens and removing trash from guest rooms.
• Collect soiled linen from vacant/dirty rooms and transport to laundry.
• Deliver items to guest rooms upon request; manage guest request items from corridors.
• Communicate with Supervisor for special duties; maintain safety and MSDS familiarity.
