Job summary

Delco Development's Hampton Inn in Woodbridge, NJ is seeking a reliable Houseperson to support laundry, guest rooms, and public areas to maintain cleanliness and appearance. The role includes transporting linen and supplies, restocking stockrooms, and assisting Room Attendants with linens and trash.

You will respond to guest requests, follow safety procedures, use chemicals per MSDS, and collaborate with supervision on special duties.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Housekeeping; including sanitation, laundry operation, and guest service
• Lift up to thirty (30) pounds, unassisted
• Bending, stretching, standing, walking and use of stairs for duration of shift

Responsibilities

• Provide support between laundry, guest rooms, and public areas to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
• Transport clean/dirty linen and supplies between laundry, stockrooms, and guest areas.
• Dispose of trash and clean all hard/textile surfaces and restrooms in public spaces.
• Respond to guest room requests and deliver items to guest rooms.
• Restock inventory in stockrooms and assist with linen management.
• Assist Room Attendants with stripping soiled linens and removing trash from guest rooms.
