Job summary

Avalon Palm Springs is seeking a House Attendant to support the housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of public spaces. The role involves cleaning public areas, assisting in back-of-house spaces, and ensuring a high standard of guest experience.

Responsibilities include replenishing supplies, transporting linens, and following safety protocols to maintain a pristine hotel environment. High school diploma required or equivalent; prior hotel housekeeping is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public spaces such as lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and stairwells.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum common areas to meet hotel cleanliness standards.
• Stock public restrooms with supplies and keep them clean throughout the day.
• Clean furniture, windows, and surfaces in public spaces to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Assist with organizing back-of-house areas, including staff rooms and laundry.
• Transport dirty linens to the laundry and return clean linens to storage.
• Notify supervisor when supplies need replenishment.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
