Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Per Diem Paramedic to provide advanced pre-hospital emergency care across public areas of the campus. You will respond to Code Blue activations with rapid assessment and stabilization, supporting hospital-based teams when requested.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of paramedic experience, Texas license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with a strong ability to make critical decisions under pressure in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Paramedic.
• Texas DSHS-approved EMT-Paramedic training or a Bachelor's degree.
• Current Texas Licensed Paramedic with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical emergencies and Code Blue activations in designated public areas.
• Provide rapid assessment, stabilization and advanced life support.
• Assist with lifting, transporting, and transferring patients to ambulances or facilities.
• Collaborate with inpatient and outpatient Code Blue teams as needed.
