Job summary

Chimes District of Columbia is seeking a custodial worker to perform a broad range of cleaning duties under supervision at a Fort Bragg facility. The role involves cleaning restrooms, public areas, and work spaces in accordance with contract specifications, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

The position offers Monday through Friday shifts from 7:30am to 1:30pm with a 60-minute lunch, and an hourly rate of $17.75 USD.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of custodial work experience preferred.
• Custodial training desired.

Responsibilities

• Clean all assigned areas in accordance with the contract specifications.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and washable surfaces in public areas.
• Descale showers, toilet bowls, and urinals.
• Vacuum area rugs and carpets; sweep and mop floors.
• Empty and clean any public ashtrays and urns.
• Move, arrange, and lift heavy items.
• Attend required meetings and in-service training.
