Job summary

Wayne County Human Services, Children & Youth Services Agency in Honesdale, PA seeks a County Casework Manager 1 to supervise social service staff and oversee case management and related services for children and families.

You will train staff, help develop the Annual Needs Based Plan and Budget, and ensure regulatory compliance through quality assurance of case records. This is a full-time role with travel as needed; telework is not offered.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in public or private social work including supervisory capacity.
• Bachelor's degree with 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision and guidance to ongoing protective services casework supervisors.
• Train staff on new and existing procedures, policies, and regulations; maintain the agency’s policy and procedure manual
• Help develop the Agency’s Annual Needs Based Plan and Budget, providing budget trends and identifying needs
• Discuss problems or unusual cases presented by staff, identify solutions, and determine when higher-level review is needed
• Evaluate case records to ensure services comply with regulations and meet or exceed service delivery standards
