Job summary

Office of U.S. Representative Becca Balint is seeking Spring 2026 paid interns for the D.C. and Burlington offices. Interns will support clerical and outreach work, including handling voicemails, mail, and constituent communications, and preparing briefings.

Interns may work full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (15–20 hours/week) from January to May, with a stipend of $3,900 per term. Applications are due November 11th at 11:59.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and organizational abilities are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to public service.
• Knowledge of federal and state programs, including navigating federal assistance programs, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Log voicemails and mail.
• Organize constituent correspondence.
• Answer constituent calls and conduct research.
• Attend outreach events and prepare briefings.
• Perform administrative and outreach tasks as needed.
