Job description

The Office of Congressman Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10) is seeking motivated candidates for paid Spring 2027 internships in the Washington D.C. office.

This internship is an opportunity to witness the inner workings of Capitol Hill and learn about the legislative process. Interns will have the opportunity to work with the legislative, communications, and operations teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering constituent phone calls, running errands, giving tours of the Capitol, attending policy briefings and meetings, researching legislation for the legislative staff, and other duties as necessary. The internship will run from January to April.

Qualified applicants are friendly, detail-oriented, professional, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Ties to Virginia’s 10th District a plus.
