Job summary

You may help draft materials in line with the county mission, handle routine correspondence, answer calls, and organize documents for distribution. The role also includes event support and agenda prep, plus assisting with newsletters.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant degree in public administration, political science, communications, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of public sector budgeting and finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license and vehicle available for duties.

Responsibilities

• Support commissioner’s staff on various projects.
• Engage with community members and stakeholders; draft materials aligned with county mission.
• Perform administrative duties: correspondence, calls, filing and document distribution.
• Assist with event support and agenda preparation.
• Support digital communication efforts such as newsletters.
