Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA) is seeking a Purchasing professional in New Braunfels, TX. The role supports the Director of Purchasing with procurement activities, develops documents and contracts, and ensures compliance with applicable state and federal laws and GBRA policies.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, plus at least three years in purchasing, preferably in a government setting, with strong data analysis and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, procurement, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Certification in procurement (e.g., CPPB/ CPPA) preferred.
• Minimum three years of purchasing experience, preferably in government.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procurement processes and prepare procurement documents and specifications.
• Coordinate with divisions to meet procurement needs and develop timelines.
• Post procurements to electronic procurement system and assist vendors.
• Conduct data mining and spend analyses to identify opportunities.
