Job summary

CSKT Office of Accounting, Budget & Compliance seeks a General Ledger Specialist for a full-time role. The successful applicant will hold at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or a business-related field, possess a valid MT driver's license, and demonstrate knowledge of governmental accounting regulations.

The position requires excellent written communication and public relations skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field required.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Knowledge of governmental accounting regulations and procedures.
• High degree of written communication skills.
• High degree of public relations skills.
• Ability to work with Microsoft Applications and office equipment.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships, maintain confidentiality, and manage accounting functions.
• Read and understand complex material and apply to varied situations.
• Submit tribal employment application, transcripts, certificates, and driver license; veteran DD214 if applicable.
• If not a Testing Designated Position, the candidate must pass pre-hire drug screen and complete six-month probation.
• Pay rate negotiable DOE, including benefits.
