Qualifications

• Three years’ experience analyzing financial problems and advising management on solutions.
• One year of experience assembling, analyzing and interpreting financial data and preparing comprehensive financial reports.
• One year of experience in budget management and control, monitoring expenditures within appropriations and revenue.
• Six months' experience in staff supervision including planning, assigning, and evaluating work.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with budgets, grants, and contracts.
• Consolidate data to the general ledger from journals and documents; balance funds and maintain audit trails.
• Review classifications and codes for accuracy and recommend changes.
• Maintain internal controls and apply accounting standards.
• Provide advice and technical guidance on fiscal function matters.
• Prepare statements and reports on financial health for planning purposes.
• Support auditors with data and documentation; respond to requests for financial information.
• Use automated systems to research, review, and report on financial data.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
