Job summary

The ADAMH Board of Franklin County seeks a Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting to lead monthly and annual financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and coordinate audits. You will supervise the accounting department, manage the chart of accounts, oversee payroll and vendor payments, and collaborate with leadership on budgeting and funding from federal, state, and local sources.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Accounting and at least three years of public sector

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; public sector experience preferred.
• Minimum three years of public sector accounting experience.
• Experience with statistical analysis and business management.
• Experience with ERP systems MUNIS and MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual financial reporting, including balance sheets, revenues, expenditures, and cash flows.
• Maintain internal controls to ensure compliant financial reporting.
• Coordinate annual audits and MD&A development.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, payments, invoicing, and deposits.
• Manage chart of accounts and monitor administrative budget classifications.
• Provide guidance on expenditures and revenue management of federal, state and local funds.
• Develop and edit contracts, purchase orders, and board memos.
• Ensure data governance and ERP access controls.
