Job summary

Vanir seeks a Project Manager to lead deferred maintenance and client-funded projects from pre-construction to closeout. You will direct renovations, refurbishments, and repairs, ensuring plans, specs, and county standards are met while coordinating with state or local agencies.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering/Construction Management/Architecture, with 15 years in the field and 5+ years of government PM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent is required.
• Five+ years of PM-related government project experience in the last ten years.
• Minimum of fifteen years in the construction industry.
• Experience with probation projects, juvenile halls, and BSCC compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with cloud-based construction management software.
• Strong communication and team management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, intense environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans to manage vendors and milestones with field oversight.
• Coordinate contracts and work orders; review proposals and scopes.
• Manage budgets and assist with funding requests.
• Develop and maintain project-level schedules.
• Provide weekly status reports to ISD leadership and County stakeholders.
