Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Technical Program Manager to serve as an embedded engineering lead within WWPS sales verticals, unblocking priorities by combining Sales, Solution Architecture, and Engineering. The role accelerates cloud adoption in public sector and coordinates across service teams and partners to deliver scalable outcomes.

You will work with Software Development Managers and Engineers to drive capacity, prioritization, and repeatable patterns that benefit multiple customers

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 4+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams and coordinating releases.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience working cross-functionally and driving decisions among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated TPM lead embedded within a prioritized sales vertical.
• Drive foresight into upcoming vertical priorities and position AI engineering early.
• Operate the Prioritization Triad Model for comparing opportunities.
• Qualify engineering engagements against WWPS scalability and reuse criteria.
• Manage engagement lifecycle across SDMs, SAs and Service Teams.
• Surface engineering impact through Sales and vertical cadences.
• Drive co-build execution with AWS Service Teams and Partners.
• Develop lightweight, data-led assessments for Sales/SA decision-making.
• Participate in vertical planning, prioritization and inspection forums.
