Detroit Housing Commission seeks a CFO/Financial Manager to provide executive leadership over all fiscal resources, reporting, and long-range financial planning. You will direct accounting, internal controls, and HUD compliance, ensuring a sound financial structure for the agency.

The role requires a CPA, a bachelor’s in accounting/finance, and extensive GAAP/public sector experience. A master’s degree is highly preferred and leadership of cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field required
• A master's degree is highly preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required

Responsabilités

• Oversee planning, analysis, and reporting of all DHC finances
• Lead long-range financial objectives and capital planning
• Ensure HUD compliance and financial regulations are met
• Supervise finance staff and internal controls
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial statements and reports
• Coordinate annual audits and HUD financial compliance reviews
