Job summary

Public Consulting Group seeks an AI Solutions Analyst to design, deliver, and monitor AI-enabled solutions for state government environments. The role translates policy needs into structured requirements and uses evaluation data to diagnose and improve system output quality.

The ideal candidate blends business analysis with hands-on fluency in enterprise AI, including basic statistics, prompt tuning, and understanding of agentic workflows, cost constraints, and explainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Solutions Analyst, or Consultant.
• Experience translating complex needs into structured deliverables.
• Client-facing experience in requirements sessions and workshops.
• Working knowledge of basic statistics and evaluating test sets.
• Hands-on experience iterating on prompts for LLM-based systems.
• Working knowledge of AI systems, behaviors, and constraints.
• Understanding of system architecture, data flows, APIs, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Support client requirements sessions and discovery discussions.
• Translate policy and workflows into structured requirements.
• Bridge between stakeholders and technical teams.
• Design AI-enabled solutions and define use cases.
• Document AI workflows and evaluation test sets.
• Analyze results with statistical reasoning to identify underperformance.
• Iterate prompts to address root causes and balance cost and explainability.
• Support program operations and cross-workstream coordination.
