Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 3 years of work experience in accounting or closely related field.
• Six hours of coursework in accounting, data processing, and office procedures or related subject.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license and county insurance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Posts and reconciles general ledgers; reviews documents, computations, and data entry for completeness and accuracy; codes and classifies information from source documents; prepares basic financial reports; maintains accounts receivable and payable; processes tax payments and reconciles cash.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of bookkeeping principles, automated accounting systems, and office procedures.
• Communicates effectively with staff and the public as required.
