Pinal County is seeking a skilled Accountant to perform basic accounting work involving recording, accounting, and reporting for County funds and assets in accordance with county policies. You will handle general ledger entries, revenue tracking, and financial reporting with accuracy and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree in Accounting or related field and at least three years of accounting experience, with a preference for a Bachelor's in Accounting.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field.
• Three years of accounting and computer experience.
• Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Review, approve, and post accounting entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Record revenue and expenditures to the correct fund, cost center, object code, and sub-ledger.
• Post journal entries and deposits.
• Process payments, vendor invoices, and payroll.
• Assist in CAFR preparation and work with auditors.
• Oversee fixed asset recording, inventory, depreciation, and reporting.
• Reconcile vendor payments and invoices.
• Generate reports from data.
• Maintain confidential records.
• Cross-train in other accounting duties.
