Job summary

Colorado Attorney General's Office in Denver seeks an Assistant Attorney General to join the Financial and Community Safety Unit. The successful candidate must be admitted to the Colorado Bar or eligible to waive in, and bring strong research and writing skills. Salary ranges from $89,964 to $136,468 per year.

Qualifications

• Admitted to the Colorado Bar or eligible to waive into the Colorado Bar and in good standing at start of employment.
• Experience as a prosecutor or litigator, or equivalent.
• Clerkships/fellowships are valued as relevant training.
• Diverse experiences and backgrounds are welcomed and valued.
• A writing sample is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil and administrative litigation before state and federal forums.
• Serve as litigation counsel in POST discipline and Parole Board cases.
• Advise on rule promulgation, open meetings, and open records matters.
