Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess Associate's degree or 60 college units.
• Four (4) years of U.S. Military Service with an honorable discharge or a reservist with 60 credits.
• Possession of a CA P.O.S.T. Basic Peace Officer Certificate must be attached to the application.

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas and enforce laws.
• Respond to calls related to protection of life and property, accidents and emergencies.
• Conduct investigations and interviews; prepare reports and present evidence in court.
