The Public Safety Officer Unarmed protects personnel and property within INTEGRIS Health buildings and on contiguous grounds. Responsibilities include preventing criminal, destructive, or disruptive activity; correcting hazardous conditions; controlling pedestrian and vehicle traffic; providing public service to patients, visitors, and employees; and performing parking enforcement when directed. This role requires population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals based on patient contact level. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
The Public Safety Officer Unarmed's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
This role reports to the Public Safety Sergeant or Lieutenant and is supervised by the Public Safety Manager. Additional physical or respiratory fit testing may be required. The position involves interaction with potentially combative persons, participation in fire and bomb threat responses, and work inside hazardous chemical environments as well as outside in various weather conditions.
