The College of Southern Maryland is seeking a temporary Public Safety Officer to support patrols of campus facilities and grounds across multiple campuses. The pool is for future temporary employment with flexible days, evenings, and weekends.
Officers are expected to patrol buildings and parking areas, observe irregular activities, and complete incident reports with limited supervision. A high school diploma and 2–3 years of security experience are preferred, with a valid driver's license

As a temporary Public Safety Officer, duties include but are not limited to patrol services, including patrolling buildings, grounds, and parking areas, observation of irregular activities, and ensuring the completion of required reports for accidents, injuries and incidents observed by or reported to the officer. Officers are expected to conduct day-to-day work activities with little to no direct supervision.
This position requires some moderate activity.
