Primary Purpose: Provide security services in a campus environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure safety & security on campus through patrols by foot, vehicle, and cart, maintaining visibility and conducting random surveillance.
- Maintain facility security and promote safety awareness campus-wide.
- Oversee all security functions during the shift.
- Provide parking lot escorts and handle lock-outs and access issues professionally and promptly.
- Perform daily locking/unlocking of buildings and know the operation of safety equipment.
- Serve as first responder in emergencies and monitor prohibited activities.
- Report hazards, security issues, and violations; provide traffic control and parking supervision.
- Assist in training new officers and perform regular inspections of safety equipment.
- Handle administrative tasks such as guest check-ins, fleet management, incident reporting, and record keeping.
- Support the Chief of Public Safety and perform other duties as assigned, maintaining professionalism and teamwork.

Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of related experience or training.
- Possession or willingness to obtain a Florida
