Primary Purpose: Provide security services in a campus environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

1. Ensure safety & security on campus through patrols by foot, vehicle, and cart, maintaining visibility and conducting random surveillance.
2. Maintain facility security and promote safety awareness campus-wide.
3. Oversee all security functions during the shift.
4. Provide parking lot escorts and handle lock-outs and access issues professionally and promptly.
5. Perform daily locking/unlocking of buildings and know the operation of safety equipment.
6. Serve as first responder in emergencies and monitor prohibited activities.
7. Report hazards, security issues, and violations; provide traffic control and parking supervision.
8. Assist in training new officers and perform regular inspections of safety equipment.
9. Handle administrative tasks such as guest check-ins, fleet management, incident reporting, and record keeping.
10. Support the Chief of Public Safety and perform other duties as assigned, maintaining professionalism and teamwork.

Required Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of related experience or training.
• Possession or willingness to obtain a Florida
