Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a Safety and Emergency Security Officer to protect patients, staff and visitors and to respond to emergencies within the facility.

Responsibilities include safeguarding people and property, de-escalating critical events, and applying sound judgment in challenging situations. Education requires a HS diploma or GED; no experience is required and some security/public safety experience is preferred.

• Must pass pre-employment psychological screening Required
• Must pass and maintain all training requirements to maintain employment to include certifications in Taser, ASP Baton, Mental Health First Aid, and others as directed Required
• Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training (P.O.S.T.) certification Preferred
