Overview:

Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercy's coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promote and practice fire and safety prevention. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:
  1. Education: High School Diploma
  2. Age: 18 years or older
  3. Valid local, state, or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 30 days of hire)
  4. Certification/Registration: Complete Basic 16-hour Public Safety/Security course within 90 days of hire (may be done as part of licensure)
  5. For areas without a licensing body, completed IAHSS Basic training
  6. Skills: Ability to read and write in English
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Licensure: Valid local, state, or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required
  2. Experience: Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience
