Job summary

Description

• Patrols the entire campus providing high visibility to deter wrongdoings.
• Acts on incidents and accidents, reports to shift Team Leader, and documents all security-related information.
• Conducts preliminary investigations for theft, malicious acts, injuries, and prepares incident reports.
• Maintains safety of patients, visitors, staff, equipment, and facilities.
• Monitors infant abduction system and responds to alarms.
• Provides escort services upon request.
• Assists with difficult or abusive patients and visitors as needed.
• Builds good relationships with hospital staff.
• Reports issues immediately to resolve problems and ensure customer service.
• Attends departmental meetings and training sessions.
