Livingstone College seeks a Public Safety Officer/Evidence Coordinator to uphold college rules and regulations and ensure safety for campus personnel and property. The role includes intake, secure storage, tracking, and lawful disposal of physical and digital evidence with a strict chain of custody.
Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, patrolling, investigations, event support, and court testimony as needed.

Reports to: Sergeant of Public Safety
Public Safety Officer uphold and enforce Livingstone College rules and regulations in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct and Staff Handbook to ensure the safety and security of the faculty, staff, students, and college property. This position also requires their responsibility for the intake, secure storage, tracking and lawful disposal of all physical and digital evidence and seized property. They ensure a strict, legally sound chain of custody so that evidence remains admissible in court.
