SALARY RANGE: $22.23 Per Hour
INTRODUCTORY PERIOD: Six (6) Months

The Public Safety Officer performs duties to provide security and protection over people and property within the college community, ensuring a safe campus environment. Responsibilities include patrolling, securing buildings, grounds, enforcing campus rules, and acting as a liaison to local authorities. The department operates 24/7.
Requires a high school diploma, one year of law enforcement or related experience, a valid California driver’s license, physical and psychological assessments, and a background check.
Includes outdoor work, long walks, climbing, and lifting up to 100 pounds. Work may require after-hours and emergency responses.
