Job summary

Agence PROvidence is seeking a security professional to patrol a college campus, report regulations violations, and manage traffic and safety operations. The role includes assisting in investigations and emergencies, monitoring building security, and performing Gate House duties on a rotating schedule.

Applicants must have an Associate’s degree in law enforcement or equivalent security experience, a valid driver’s license, and pass background, psychological, and physical tests.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in law enforcement or equivalent security experience is required.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a vehicle.
• Must successfully complete a criminal background clearance, psychological testing, physical agility testing, and pre-employment physical.
• Availability to work all shifts, if needed.

Job description

To protect life and safeguard institutional and personal property, under the direct supervision of the Shift Supervisor.

1. Patrol of college campus on foot and in college vehicles.
2. Report infractions of rules and regulations.
3. Supervise, direct, and regulate traffic and parking.
4. Assist in investigations.
5. Report problems, injuries, or conditions which may endanger health and safety.
6. Check building security.
7. Assist police and fire agencies during emergencies.
8. Perform Gate House service on a rotational basis.

MARGINAL DUTIES:

1. Perform all other duties as may be required.

• Associate’s degree in law enforcement from an accredited institution and/or equivalent law enforcement or security experience required
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a vehicle and patrol the campus
• Must successfully complete a criminal background clearance, psychological testing, physical agility testing, and pre-employment physical
• Availability to work all shifts, if needed
