Job summary

Bridgton Hospital in Bridgton, ME is seeking a part-time Security Officer to perform security services, including electronic surveillance, manual rounds, and coordinating facility responses for patients, staff and visitors. You’ll work with the Environment of Care committee to promote a safe workplace and environment of care, and you may drive on company business as needed.

Experience in healthcare security is preferred; State Guard Certification is preferred; a High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Performs security services, including electronic surveillance, and systematic manual Security Officers’ rounds.
• Coordinates facility response to various potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors.
• Enforces policy & procedure, ensuring equitable enforcement.
• Follows guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques, towards establishing a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care.
• Works with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety.
• Participates in employee awareness and education.
• Driving as needed for company business.

Overview

Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. Pay Transparency

Bridgton Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $20.25 to $25.32. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
