Job summary

Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation's Public Safety Department seeks a Public Safety Assistant II to provide essential support to DPS. This uniformed guard role requires adherence to BSIS guidelines and the ability to respond to emergencies, monitor facilities, and interact with visitors with professionalism.

You will assist Sergeants, help train PSAs, conduct investigations, draft reports, and coordinate responses to incidents across tribal properties.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.
Minimum two years security experience.
Minimum one year of security supervisory experience preferred.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

Safeguard assets, facilities and visitors; patrol areas and identify policy violations.
Assist Sergeants and train PSAs for efficient operations.
Assist investigations; validate information and compile written reports.
Monitor designated areas; respond to service calls and draft incident reports.
Maintain care of equipment and uniforms.
Serve as PSA liaison to optimize operations.
Initiate investigations when needed and handle evidence per policy.
Respond to emergencies; provide first aid including CPR and notify as required.
Educate on policies; build positive relationships with guests and staff.
Perform other duties to support department operations.
