What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee $1.5-2M in account revenue as the most senior strategic client counsel
- Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects while working with top executives
- Generate business revenue within existing clients and identify new client pitches
- Manage, mentor, and develop staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- Represent the employer and key clients at industry events to build networking and business contacts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Demonstrated skill in building relationships with top-tier reporters and editors
- Extensive experience in writing and editing for various print and online communications media
- Proven leadership in managing strategic communications and media relations programs
