Job summary

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field (if stated in the ad).
• Proven experience in media relations and stakeholder communications.
• Ability to coordinate events and craft outreach messaging.

Responsibilities

• Draft and distribute press releases and media pitches using Meltwater.
• Monitor inbound media inquiries and coordinate responses with Communications Director.
• Coordinate media briefings with media and Lincoln Institute staff; develop media policy.
• Oversee outreach to key audiences for publications, events, and announcements.
• Build audience lists and track engagement levels across projects.
• Draft and distribute outreach messaging via Outlook mail merge and other channels.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders and respond to inquiries.
