TOGETHXR is seeking a Public Relations Director (Volunteer/Intern) to shape and protect the public image of Indiana Valor. This role involves developing PR strategies, building relationships with media, and managing the team's brand visibility.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of PR experience, preferably in sports or entertainment, and a passion for women's professional sports. This position allows for remote work with in-person presence for events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional PR experience, preferably in sports or entertainment.
• Experience managing PR events and crisis communications.
• Passion for growing visibility of women’s professional sports and team branding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies and campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
• Write press releases, media kits, and promotional materials that reflect the team's mission.
• Coordinate press conferences, interviews, and public appearances.
• Monitor media coverage and adjust messaging to align with public sentiment.
• Collaborate with communications, marketing, and outreach teams to ensure consistent messaging.
• Handle media inquiries and manage reputation across platforms.
