Public Relations & Fashion Show Coordinator

Manhattan, New York – Onsite
Duration: 2-Month Contract / Seasonal

An iconic global fashion and lifestyle brand is seeking a highly organized and energetic Public Relations & Fashion Show Coordinator to provide critical support during one of the most anticipated fashion events of the year.

This is a 2-month seasonal contract based onsite in Manhattan, with a primary focus on supporting the planning and execution of a high-profile global fashion show, while also assisting with editorial, influencer, VIP, talent, and PR initiatives.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, highly visible environment and enjoys working behind the scenes to bring major brand moments to life. This opportunity is well suited for someone with experience in public relations, fashion, communications, influencer marketing, entertainment, event production, or live events. Recent graduates with strong relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Fashion Show & Event Support
  • Support the PR team with day-to-day planning, coordination, and execution surrounding a major global fashion show.

  • Maintain project trackers, timelines, guest lists, credentials, deadlines, and other event documentation.

  • Coordinate across internal teams, PR agencies, production partners, vendors, talent representatives, and other stakeholders.

  • Assist with media kits, show fact sheets, look information, credits, and other press-facing materials.

  • Support guest list management, credentialing, seating coordination, check-in, and VIP experiences.

  • Assist with fashion show gifting for models, influencers, executives, VIPs, and internal partners.

  • Help develop and maintain photography shot lists for runway and behind-the-scenes event coverage.

  • Coordinate travel, transportation, and car service logistics for VIP and talent needs.

  • Support vendor coordination, including catering, floral, security, production, visual, and other event partners.

  • Assist with scheduling milestone meetings, agency brainstorms, gifting/seeding discussions, and other critical planning sessions.

  • Serve as an onsite resource for executives, guests, talent, and internal partners throughout the event.

  • Provide hands-on support during event execution, including responding to urgent or last-minute needs.

  • Support additional brand initiatives surrounding the fashion show, including gifting, talking points, communications, model coordination, and product needs.

Editorial & Media Relations
  • Monitor press coverage surrounding launches, campaigns, collections, and events.

  • Track media coverage, press placements, impressions, and relevant social conversation.

  • Assist with weekly press and social coverage recaps.

  • Coordinate editorial sample requests, including gathering products, shipping execution, and tracking.

  • Support seasonal sample ordering, press previews, and ongoing press closet organization.

  • Assist with identifying evergreen pitching opportunities, franchise stories, and timely editorial angles.

  • Capture meeting notes, maintain agendas, and track follow-up items, deadlines, and deliverables.

  • Support development of PR communications, talking points, FAQs, briefing materials, and fact-checking of campaign and collection messaging.

  • Assist with onsite logistics for press previews, editorial events, and talent-facing activations.

Influencer, Creator & VIP Support
  • Support the day-to-day execution of a large-scale creator and influencer program.

  • Assist with influencer identification, campaign casting ideas, research, and sourcing.

  • Coordinate product orders for influencer campaigns and content creation.

  • Support VIP gifting, product seeding, placements, and archive product requests.

  • Partner with internal sample teams to secure product for high-priority talent and VIP opportunities.

  • Assist with creator vetting and content approval processes.

  • Organize influencer content for review and potential amplification across marketing channels.

  • Support onsite logistics for influencer events and social content capture opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Fashion, Event Management, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.

  • Previous internship or professional experience in PR, communications, fashion, entertainment, influencer marketing, events, production, or an agency environment.

  • Experience supporting live events, activations, fashion events, press events, or other complex projects strongly preferred.

  • Strong project management and multi-workstream coordination abilities.

  • Experience coordinating vendors, agencies, production partners, or external stakeholders.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to support reports, meeting notes, talking points, briefing materials, and executive-facing communications.

  • Comfortable managing administrative and operational responsibilities alongside higher-profile event activities.
