The role involves speechwriting, technical writing, content development and coordination with employees, member systems and the media.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field, plus strong writing, editing and Adobe

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a closely related field.
• Hands-on skills in content organization, writing, editing, layout and design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing and implementing PowerSouth's total communications program (PowerLines, newsletters, digital content, website).
• Provide support and maintain relationships with employees, distribution members, media and community organizations.
• Assist with planning/executing tours of facilities and events with community organizations to enhance public image.
• Promote teamwork and uphold standards of respect, integrity and trust within the organization.
