Our client, a reputable educational institution in East London, Eastern Cape, seeks a proactive Public Relations Officer to join the communications department. You will enhance the institution's public image, manage media relations, and support internal communications.

The role requires a degree in PR, Communications, or Journalism, at least three years of PR experience, strong writing and editing skills, and the ability to coordinate events and social media.

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in public relations or communications.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute public relations strategies.
• Write and edit press releases, newsletters, website content.
• Respond to media inquiries and coordinate requests.
• Monitor media coverage and maintain clippings files.
• Support events, open days, and campaigns.
• Maintain updated media and stakeholder contact lists.
