Job summary

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is offering a Public Programs internship within the Museum Services department. The role focuses on planning and executing programs that educate adult audiences about country music, including live interviews, performances, screenings, and other educational activities.

The intern will assist with program research, scheduling, and communications, while supporting day-of-show operations and department meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student.
• Interest in education, music, museum studies, event management, or related field preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research and write introductions for select programs.
• Curate house music playlists for select programs.
• Write program entries for web calendar.
• Assist with day-of-show program management.
• Artist and production tasks: setup and escorting performers, taking notes.
• Guest and audience service: manage guest lists and answer questions.
